Sketchbook and Studies + Reilly Method too!
Hey all,
I was going through my files today and I realized that I have not posted any studies or Sketchbook stuff in a long while. According to my blog's statistics, I get a lot of hits related to my Reilly Method studies and since I have not really stopped doing them, I thought that I'd get back on the horse and share. All of these studies are digital but I do still scribble in my sketchbook. I have not gotten around to scanning anything from there but when I do, I'll post those up as well. I apologize if some of the images are doubled up in one or two pics but that is just how things came out this time around.
Thanks for tuning in and let me know what you think.
Cheers!
Reilly Method quick Portraits. I try to do these in under 10 minutes each.
So for a while there I was on a Predator kick and I was doing some studies of the various characters. My favorite was always "Blaine" played by Jesse Ventura. I still have plans for these....
Gestures and quick studies.
The two on the right were drawn using the palette knife in PS. There is something about that tool that gives the drawings a nice mark and energy. I don't know why I don't use it more!

Eclipse Phase
Today, a project that I worked on a couple of months ago went on sale
called "Eclipse Phase: Transhuman" by Posthuman studios. It is hard to
describe the setting in a few sentences but suffice it to say, it is a
Sci Fi RPG game and if you interested, you should check it out. The book
has gone on sale today and can be purchased at RPG Dru Thru HERE as a .pdf and goes on sale in print format in a month or two.
These are a couple of interior illustrations that were my contributions to the book.
Cheers!
