Pinup Study

Hey Gang,

Today we have a pinup study I did of a Keri Russel image I found on the net. I just thought it was such a good example of the pin up genre and I've always wanted to give Pinup style painting a chance so I decided to execute this study. I used both painter and Photoshop on this one and I think it took about 16 hours all in. Not too bad. Perhaps I will do more in the future.

Wedding Invite

I have some family getting married this summer and they asked me if I would put together an invite poster for them to mail to their guests. All the Art Direction came from Cheryl and I just followed her orders. The theme is based off a few old Travel Ads and some pictures Cheryl had of her and the family. If you grew up in the 80's, you must have seen the movie Weird Science and thought it was the coolest thing since the Breakfast club. Well, I've always wanted to do a portrait of Lisa in her infamous reveal pose and I've always wanted to do an Alphonse Mucha themed piece so I combined the two and Voila!
